Canvas4aCause is excited to announce that we have acquired the rights to redistribute the art pieces of the talented artist Alexandra Ortiz De Fargher. The first collection we are showcasing is “Palette for Preservation,” a diverse and striking collection of mixed media pieces that bring attention to the ecological disaster that humans are causing, particularly the rapid shrinking of the Great Salt Lake.

Ms. Ortiz is a true innovator, constantly experimenting with different media to create pieces that are both beautiful and thought-provoking. This collection features acrylic on canvas and photography, as well as digital art pieces that have been created with the assistance of artificial intelligence.

We are proud to support not only Canvas4aCause, but also saveourgreatsaltlake.org through the sale of these pieces. Our hope is that by raising awareness about the plight of the Great Salt Lake we can inspire people to take action and change the water rights policies that are contributing to the lake’s decline. The disappearance of the Great Salt Lake would have devastating consequences, including the loss of the fishing industry, the deaths of hundreds of thousands of migratory birds, and the potential exposure of toxic dust that could threaten the health of people living in Salt Lake City and beyond.
